Internet Fax

The UCS Fax2Email service enables you to receive your incoming faxes as email attachments directly on your PC, in your standard mail inbox. They come in as TIF attachments, which your Windows PC will automatically recognise. You can print, forward, copy, archive these more easily than standard faxes.

You simply rent a fax number from UCS and specify which email address you want your faxes to arrive at. You can also specify a second email address for each incoming number, for management duplication, record keeping or for archiving.

There’s no need for additional software, telephone lines, fax server, or maintenance. This remarkable system does not even affect your PABX, so you don't need to upgrade it to get inbound faxes delivered to each email user on your LAN.

Some of the key benefits:

  • Receive faxes when you are traveling. Wherever you can receive email, you can receive a fax with Fax2Email. You can also use a hotmail address to receive faxes if necessary.
  • View faxes by email. No need to wait by the fax machine – just read it on your desktop or laptop PC.
  • Have your own personal fax number for confidential information. Rather than sharing the same fax machine, people can send to your Fax2Email number so only you can view it.
  • Numbers are never busy. With Fax2Email numbers, the sender will never get a busy signal.
  • Various redundancies are built into the system, including networks, computers, hard disks, delivery channels and other components. Even if there is a major outage in a city, UCS can still deliver by sending messages from another location.
  • No physical line to install. Fax2Email can be set up without the need for additional lines, saving you money.
  • No more wake-up calls. You won't be distracted by the irritating ringing sound. Let it quietly arrive in you email box and you can retrieve your fax whenever you check your email.
  • Save on paper wastage. Because the fax arrives in your email, you can decide whether to print it, save it, delete it or forward it to somebody else.

Fax Broadcasting

Fax Broadcasting means sending the same message to multiple recipients. It’s ideal for companies that need to communicate with large numbers of companies quickly and to keep them informed of price fluctuations, sailing schedules, service changes, or any other information.

If you wish to send a fax broadcast but don’t have a database to market to, UCS can provide lists to suit your requirements.
